MAKING HISTORY AS THE FASTEST AND MOST SUCCESSFUL GIRLS XC TEAM IN SCHOOL HISTORY.

COMPETING IN CIF D2, WITH THE MOST TALENTED COLLECTION OF HS GIRLS XC RUNNERS IN THE NATION, THE GIRLS TEAM FINISHED A SCHOOL RECORD 4TH PLACE AT THE CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET.

This is an improvement of 10th place last year 2018 and the second Top 5 finish at the State meet the last three years. Racing for El Toro HS at the famous 5K (3.1 Mile) Woodward Park XC course: Kasey Lynd, Alexis Neuville, Paulette Dominguez, Grace Griffin, Jessica Martinez, Darla Medina, and Olivia Reichle.

Special recognition to Lexi and Jessica as the first two grils XC runners to Race at the State meet all four years of their HS career.

Season Highlights:

2nd Orange County Championship in three years

2nd consecutive South Coast League Champions

4th consecutive State Meet

State Championship Meet 4th place (second Top 5 finish in three years)

The ETHS Girls XC program advanced to State in 2016 and since has had continued success in the 541 school CIF-Southern Section and beyond to advance to State each year since. We continue to strive to our ultimate goal of a State Championship.
